Level_1
Left mouse button - most actions
P / Escape - pause game (volume settings)
Click anywhere to actually run the game (had to do this because of a browser quirk where it requires an input before allowing audio to start)
What is a game? That's a difficult question. What's the smallest thing that would count as a game? That's a question which allows me to get past my perfectionism and actually finish a project.
That was the inception of this little game which has allowed me to learn a lot of tricks and new things in game development like particles, basic shaders, sound design, using tweens properly, menus and even music (please be nice it's my first ever song). All of this to try and make the simplest concept into a juicy experience.
I used Godot as my engine, Aseprite for visuals, FLstudio, Audacity and Beebbox for audio (and a few other free softwares). No AI was used to create assets or write code, only to research certain programming issues.
Level 2 is now in development :)
Thanks to Vilkas Sound for a background ambiant sound effect <3
